At Castleton C of E Primary School we aim to prepare our children for life in a culturally rich and diverse society.

Through our curriculum provision, and expectations for behaviour, we aim to ensure that all our pupils develop a sense of belonging to modern Britain. This is underpinned by a knowledge of British democracy, rule of law, individual liberty and tolerance. Our school ethos promotes tolerance and value of others  whilst learning to respect the traditions and beliefs of others who live in our immediate community and the wider world.
